Hey Citizens! We've got some fresh updates that should make your org ops run a bit smoother. No more getting locked out of your own events, and now you can get Discord notifications for important stuff.
🆕 New Features
Discord Bot Integration
Finally got that Discord bot working! Here's what it does:
- Event Reminders: Get PMs when events are starting soon (30-45 minutes before)
- Invite Notifications: Get notified when someone sends you an event or org invite
- Star Citizen Themed: Messages include proper SC vibes with links to the site
- Optional: Toggle on/off in your profile settings
The bot runs every 15 minutes, so you won't miss important stuff but won't get spammed either.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Event Creator Lockout Fix
Fixed that annoying bug where event creators couldn't join their own invite-only events. You know, the kind of thing that makes you wonder if CIG is running the backend 😏
Now when you create an event, you're automatically added as a participant regardless of the joining method (invite-only, password, etc.).
